Week Of Love

Have a spiritual adventure as you develop the attribute of love. Pens, paper, scriptures, and your hearts are recommended aids.

1     First Day: The Hand Of Love

Write a note to two friends, someone not related to you, one in Australia, and one far away. Tell how much you appreciate them.

2     Second Day: The Voice Of Love

Tell someone what they mean to you, or say I'm sorry, or thank you.

3     Third Day: The Deed Of Love

Take something you have made or bought to two or three members who mean a lot to you, but whom you rarely express your feelings. A cookie, milkshake, candy or some small gift that has love as its wrapping.

4     Fourth Day: The Heart Of Love

Make a list of at least five people for whom you will pray daily. Include your friends, family, enemies, those who you don't particularly like, investigators, or members. Forgive them if they have wronged you, and ask forgiveness if you have wronged them.

5     Fifth Day: The Mind Of Love

Use this day to pray for yourself and look inward. Read the scriptures or a conference report and mediate over its message for you.

6     Sixth Day: The Victory Of Love

This is a day of celebration. God's love for us is revealed in many ways. While tracting notice the beautiful earth. Contemplate on all of the blessings you enjoy and prepare to give thanks on the Sabbath.
